Caution
I have always sought to disturb my readers.
When I was young I liked to make them squirm from the discomfort of gross-out horror. As I matured, I found that it is even more disturbing when they don’t know how to feel about my characters and the choices they make. Sympathy turns to repulsion, fear melds into longing, happiness and loss twist together into some new, unnameable emotion.
Evil for the sake of evil is boring. Pure evil versus pure good? Where is the humanity? Where is the conflict? Where is the fabled line that divides the fair from the foul? Instead I love to find that line and dance about it.
I hope you enjoy the stories found here as well as others which are not included on this site. My goal is to entertain, to disturb, and to make you question the relativity of right and wrong. Upon occasion, I’m still not above a little gross-out horror.
